Vidu's whole identity is reference-to-video: feed it up to seven images and it holds people, props and scenes consistent, with a My References library for saving a recurring cast. That is the short drama problem, stated as a product. Our read: for serialized vertical stories where the same lead must survive fifty episodes of cuts, this is the most direct attack on character drift we've seen in the category.
