Jellyfish
End-to-end short-drama workspace: script, storyboard, consistency and shots.
About
Jellyfish is an open-source, self-hostable short-drama pipeline. End-to-end short-drama workspace: script, storyboard, consistency and shots.
Our take — Jellyfish for short drama
Jellyfish is a production workspace, not a model: script breakdown, shot preparation, character/scene/prop/costume consistency management, then generation orchestration across multiple providers, deployed via Docker Compose. Our read for short drama: this is the missing middle layer — the models above generate shots, but keeping fifty shots consistent across three episodes is a database problem, and Jellyfish treats it as one.
It is younger and smaller than the big pipelines — 5.1k stars, v0.3.2 in April 2026 per the repo — and it generates nothing itself, so you still need model providers wired in, which makes it a complement to ComfyUI-style backends rather than a rival. Compared with LumenX's model-bundled approach, Jellyfish bets on provider-agnostic OpenAPI contracts, which we read as the more durable architecture for teams that switch models often.
Teams running multi-episode drama production who need shot-level consistency tracking across characters, scenes and props.
It generates nothing itself — budget for wiring in model providers, and it is still a young v0.3.x project.
