The homepage can start from a hot template: holiday, pet, and trend videos. Open one and use your own photo. The public showcase lets you browse sample episodes by topic, then start with Make my version. Dance, Secret Santa, and novel-to-drama each have a page: upload a photo or paste your text to begin.

On the free plan, confirming the script starts shot 1 right away when you can pay for that frame but not the full set of looks and the scene, with no second confirmation. An exported storyboard sheet keeps each shot's character, action, and line.

After you change a look, a place, or the voice a shot uses, storyboard frames that use them are marked Frame outdated and finished clips are marked Needs reshoot. You can export the frames you already have as one sheet, or assemble that sheet from them. A one-pass sheet uses a few of those frames as face and wardrobe references.

New one-click trend remakes: upload a photo and put yourself or your pet into a popular dance or scene. Smooth dance, infinity pool, soul swap, pet vlog and memorial templates launch alongside Friendsgiving, New Year wishes, cartoon wedding, toy car to real car and horse dance pages, and you can jump straight into another template when a video is done. When creating a drama you can choose the opening hook, twist position and ending, and the pricing page lists three tiers for a one-minute episode. If a shoot was rejected by moderation you get a hint to switch models or redraw the still, and batch shooting lets you top up right in the dialog. Fine-cut export works now, one broken asset no longer blacks out the whole preview, and the web app adds an account page where you can delete your account.

MiniMax H3 Max Turbo now supports reference-to-video face lock, so the same character stays consistent across shots; FAST in the studio now pairs FLUX 3 Klein images with H3 Max Turbo video. The showcase has 3 official English sample episodes to watch or Remix in one click, four new holiday template pages (angel runway, Halloween costume, Thanksgiving dinner and Santa) and three one-tap pages (pet dance, talking pet and photo plot twist) start a drama from your photos. The sign-in dialog is now a single column, with WeChat sign-in tucked into a small link at the bottom. Pricing states refunds within 7 days, prorated by credits used, and the pricing and how-it-works pages are in all 17 languages. Episodes in the header is now My Episodes; generations no longer stay stuck at Processing, and password reset links no longer 404.

New pricing page and a How it works guide. Kling 4.0 joins the video models, up to 30 seconds a take. Deleting your account in the app is now a step-by-step guide that shows what will be removed and clears it category by category. The footer now links to category rankings, and the studio and top navigation no longer get cramped on small screens.

Storyboard frames can now use FLUX 3 Klein: fast, low-cost, up to 4K, and able to edit an existing frame. Lip sync gets a "More models" section with OmniHuman 1.5 (Performance) and OmniHuman 2.0 (Light performance).

Shot videos made with FLUX 3 can now be rendered in 2K and 4K. The homepage has a more cinematic look, with a sample film filling the first screen, and its PayPal option now works with the keyboard. drama.so opens in English by default again outside China. Language pages such as drama.so/zh work again, and your first visit follows your browser's language. Links shared into the DramaSo app are now picked up correctly even when a bracketed title follows right after them.

When you are short on credits, DramaSo now works out which settings you can still afford: a lower resolution, a shorter clip, or a cheaper model from the same provider, plus a low-cost "Test shot" so you can check the result before shooting it for real. When your monthly member credits run out, the credits badge shows when they come back; if one action would use more than 30% of this month's member credits, you see a heads-up and confirm first. You can export a film before every shot is done, with storyboard stills filling the gaps. The paywall now shows the shots you have already made, and if you close the window before a payment goes through, you are offered another way to pay. The home page loads faster, and the app suggests the same settings when you shoot.

DramaSo now tells you what to do next when you get stuck. A script or idea you wrote before signing up picks up right where you left it after you sign in. After a successful payment, a card shows what arrived and takes you back to the generation your balance had stopped. When you are short on credits it says by how much, and a failed generation tells you right away that the credits were refunded and lets you retry. The home page and Episodes page point you to your latest episode or your first one. New first-purchase offer: no subscription, $9.9 (regularly $19.9) for 2,000 credits, once per account. The Android app's credit top-up page works again.

The Script to Video page now shows results before you sign in: a vertical sample video at the top and three example scripts in different genres that fill in with one click. In the workspace, the pricing dialog is split into Plans and Credit packs, and if you close it without paying you can tell us why in one tap. Each plan now says roughly how many seconds or minutes of finished video its monthly credits make, in the app paywall too. If your project already has storyboards, the pricing dialog opens with them playing at the top. Cards, the sample video and genre tags on the home page now take you straight into the workspace, and the Add button and empty state in the asset library now respond when clicked.

Pages in 15 languages now have the copy they were missing, tool pages and model notes that were still in English are translated, and Traditional Chinese uses Taiwan wording throughout. Copy on tool pages, landing pages, sign-up and checkout now matches what the product actually does.

Lookbook and set images can now pick Qwen Image 2.1 Turbo and Qwen Image 2.1 Pro. Studio settings now have an image resolution option, and more image models can output 2K.

HeyGen Video’s top option is labeled 2K, not 1080P. 480P costs less than 720P. A shot made from reference images costs twice that tier.

Character looks and storyboard stills can use Nano Banana 2.1, Seedream 5.0 Flash, and Tencent Hy Image 3.5.

A line written as a sound effect generates a 5-second effect instead of being read aloud. On the web, High lip-sync is temporarily unavailable; a saved High choice moves to Mid, and submitting High does not charge. A video shot with Seedance is prepared before it goes on the page, so the first frame can show before the whole file downloads.

Save lip-sync no longer charges when the whole take has no complete face. If only some storyboard shots have no face, those shots are named and the rest still get a mouth fix. If the picture comes back with the mouth unchanged, those credits return. On the web and in the app.

HeyGen Video is available when you shoot a clip. Start from a line of text, a first frame, or reference images. The picture and the sound come out together.

Dubbing can use a model you pick for this project. Each line, the whole episode, and preview all use that choice. A project that never picked one still follows each character's own voice.

The animation page now says Text to animation. After it generates, it plays on the page, and you can download the animation page. A video file is not ready yet.

The prompt library adds thirty-nine film styles and 219 effect prompts. Each has its own page: copy the prompt, then shoot it in the studio. Members can make a page that plays itself.

Lip-sync can be Precise or Save. The credits on the button match the resolution you picked.

Look pack slots accept your own photos. After you paste a front shot, head and body follow that face instead of someone else's.

Rename, archive, or delete episodes. Lock your own cast when you create, and your story stays yours.

Homepage titles now say “make a short drama” in each language. Android photo pick no longer asks for the whole library.

Seedance 2.5 gets a white-model vs final prompt catalog. Copy a recipe or shoot it in the studio.
