LivePortrait, from Kuaishou's research arm, transfers expression and pose from a driving video onto any portrait — humans, and even cats and dogs. For short drama it's one of the most useful free primitives we track: one performer can puppet a whole cast of AI-generated faces, which is how consistent characters get acted rather than merely lip-synced.
