Canva is the template-first design suite with Magic Studio AI folded in — Magic Media for generation, Magic Eraser and Magic Expand for cleanup. Our read for short drama: it wins on the last mile, not raw generation. Cover art is the number-one click-through lever, and a title set in real fonts on a Canva template will beat baked-in AI text for legibility almost every time.

The tradeoff versus Midjourney is ceiling: Magic Media's raw output won't match that cinematic punch, so we'd generate key art elsewhere and compose the poster here. Against Ideogram, Canva's answer to title text is typography layers rather than model magic — less impressive, more controllable, and easier to localize across a whole episode grid.
