Script to Video AI — Turn Your Script into a Short Drama

Paste a script and DramaSo turns it into a vertical 9:16 short drama: parsed into a shot-by-shot timeline, voiced line by line, storyboarded, filmed shot by shot and exported as MP4. Words are cheap — render video only when the hook works.

Script → storyboard → film: spend where it matters

DramaSo's pipeline is priced back-to-front: text is free, stills are cheap, video renders last — so you only pay full price for episodes worth filming.

Script to video AI FAQ

What is script to video AI?

Software that turns a written script into a finished video. DramaSo is tuned for vertical short drama: it parses your script into shots, gives every character an AI voice, generates 9:16 storyboard stills, animates them into video shots and exports a complete episode.

How do I turn my script into a video?

Paste the script above and open Studio — parsing is free. Your lines become a playable timeline; from there you voice the dialogue, generate storyboard frames, film each shot as video and export the episode. Every paid step shows its credit price before it runs.

How much does it cost?

Pasting a script is free; AI script writing costs 2 credits; a storyboard table costs 1 credit; stills and voice lines are billed per item; video shots are priced by length and resolution and shown before each run; exporting the finished episode costs 2 credits. New accounts get welcome credits, and members draw from a monthly credit pool.

What format does the final video come in?

A vertical 9:16 MP4 with burned-in subtitles, ready for TikTok, Reels, Shorts and WeChat Channels — plus SRT subtitles, a radio-drama audio cut and the full script. Individual shots run a few seconds each (roughly 3–15s) and render at 480P to 1080P.

Can I check the episode before paying for video?

Yes — that's the point of the audio-first timeline. You hear every line and see storyboard stills long before any video renders, so the expensive step only runs on episodes whose hook already works.

Do I need a finished script to start?

No. One line of an idea is enough — AI writes the whole episode. You can also clone the beat structure of a viral reference, or start from the storyboard generator and bring the script here once the shots feel right.
